This is a training combining presentations and practical hands-on exercises. There will be presentations to explain the theory and foundation of PRINCE2. There will be both individual and group exercises to put PRINCE2 into practice, based on a scenario. There will be room for questions & discussion, in order to better understand the method.
Every day, part of the sample PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner Test Exams will be solved and corrected in group.
During the course, two hours of evening study each evening is required.
Complete PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner Training & Certification
The PRINCE2 FastTrack training takes place on 5 consecutive days. It is a very intensive training. This training is perfect if you do not have a lot of time or if you need to get certified very quickly.
The content is basically the same. You will get the complete PRINCE2 Foundation training & exam and the complete PRINCE2 Practitioner training & exam in one package. The Foundation exam is done during the training itself (it's a one-hour exam). The Practitioner exam takes place ± 2 weeks after the training and lasts 2h30 to 3h00.
Who should attend?
This course is designed for Project Managers and aspiring Project Managers. You will also benefit from this course if you are involved in the development and delivery of projects, for example: project team members, project support personnel, project board members, operational line managers & staff, … But this course is also for anybody who wants to know what PRINCE2 is all about.
Delegates should have an understanding of project management but knowledge of PRINCE2 is not required.
PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner Certification Exams
Foundation Exam (taken during the training)
60 minute duration (+ 25% extra time or 15 minutes for non-native English speakers)
‘Closed book’ examination (no materials other than the examination materials are permitted)
33/60 required to pass = 55% pass mark
Practitioner Exam (taken two weeks after the training)
68 questions per paper
38 marks or more required to pass (out of 68 available) or approximately 55%
Two-and-a-half hours’ (150 minutes) duration, no additional reading time, additional time allowed for non-native English speakers
Open book exam (official PRINCE2 manual only)
Paper-based exam in our offices or online via proctor
