• Understand the AgilePM® v3 principles, value-driven lifecycle and governance approach.

• Facilitate collaboration and communication within agile teams using practices such as facilitated workshops, MoSCoW prioritisation, time-boxing (sprints), user stories and iterative development.
• Estimate and control agile project work: effort estimation, duration, project planning through the AgilePM lifecycle.
• Integrate agile practice with governance, risk management and quality assurance in project delivery.
• Tailor AgilePM to your organisation’s context (hybrid/traditional + agile) and be fully prepared for the AgilePM® Foundation exam.

• What is Agile? How to choose an appropriate agile approach
• The Agile manifesto, principles and AgilePM® v3 philosophy
• The AgilePM® lifecycle (processes) and project-governance products
• Roles & responsibilities in an agile project
• Key techniques: prioritisation (MoSCoW), time-boxing/sprints, iterative development and modelling
• Requirements & user stories, planning and control, estimates and durations
• Quality assurance in agile, risk management in agile environments
• Tailoring AgilePM® to your organisation’s needs (hybrid/scale/multi-team)
• Be prepared to take your AgilePM Foundation exam with success

Throughout the course you will work on a case study and exercises to apply the knowledge. The official handbook is included.

Prerequisites

There are no formal prerequisites for this Foundation course. Some experience in project work is beneficial but not mandatory.

About the Foundation exam

• Format: Online multiple-choice exam
• Duration: 40 minutes
• Number of questions: 50
• Pass mark: 30 out of 50 (60 %), compliant with v3 exam scheme
• Closed-book exam
• Certificate: there is no expiry date for the Foundation certificate

The AgilePM Foundation exam is taken online with remote supervision by B2B Learning via Teams, one week after the end of the course (date and time to be agreed with the group). Alternatively, we can provide you with an exam voucher to take the test at a date and time of your choice via APMG ProctorU.
