1. Introduction to Agile & AgilePM v3
- Agile philosophy, values and principles
- Why AgilePM exists and what problems it solves
- Key changes introduced in version 3 (value focus, leadership, Scrum integration)
2. Scrum Essentials (major addition in v3)
- Scrum roles: Product Owner, Scrum Master, Developers
- Scrum events: Sprint, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective
- Scrum artefacts: Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Increment
- Empirical process control (transparency, inspection, adaptation)
- How Scrum fits within AgilePM: Scrum as the delivery engine that feeds into AgilePM’s project-level governance
3. AgilePM v3 Roles and Responsibilities
- Project-level roles (Sponsor, Visionary, Project Manager/Leader, Business Analyst, Solution Development Team, etc.)
- Interaction between AgilePM roles and Scrum delivery roles
- Creating a collaborative team environment
4. AgilePM v3 Project Lifecycle

This is not a slide-reading course. You'll work in small groups on a realistic case study, with exercises and discussions. Our trainers are experienced practitioners, not full-time presenters — they bring real project stories from finance, government, IT and consulting clients in Belgium and across Europe.
Throughout the course you will work on a case study and exercises to apply the knowledge. The official handbook is included in paper-format for face-to-face courses and in pdf-format for live virtual students.

About the Foundation exam
The AgilePM v3 Foundation exam is 40 minutes, 50 multiple-choice questions, 60% pass mark, closed book. You'll take it online with B2B Learning's own supervision on the 3rd day of your training. Prefer to schedule it yourself? We can provide an APMG ProctorU. exam voucher instead, valid for 12 months (please inform us on the first morning).
