Why book through B2B Learning?
The training itself is delivered by our REP partner whether you buy direct or through us. What changes is everything around the purchase:
📄 B2B billing your finance team accepts. We invoice in EUR with a Belgian VAT number, accept purchase orders, and offer payment by bank transfer (pre-payment or standard 30-day terms for registered customers). Many corporate buyers — especially consulting firms — appreciate the invoicing process through normal procurement.
💶 Belgian training subsidies apply. Our Scrum Alliance courses are eligible for KMO-Portefeuille (Flanders) — which can reduce your effective cost by up to 30%. Eligibility for Brussels regional subsidies depends on the current scheme rules; contact us to confirm before booking. These subsidies cannot be claimed on direct purchases from international providers.
📞 Local first-line contact. We are based in Brussels, support in English, Dutch or French, EU-based GDPR-compliant contracting. If you need to reschedule, or simply ask a pre-purchase question, you talk to us.
📅 Generous session availability. Our partner runs CSM and CSPO sessions frequently throughout the month, so you rarely wait long for a suitable start date. The calendar is updated every month.
👤 Personally handled enrolment. Once your booking is confirmed, B2B Learning allocates your seat directly on our dedicated SimpliLearn partner portal. You're not a ticket number in a foreign helpdesk queue — you have a named contact in Brussels through the whole process.
Why choose a Scrum Alliance certification?
Founded in 2001, Scrum Alliance is the original Scrum certification body and remains the largest, with more than one million certified practitioners worldwide. CSM and CSPO are among the most widely recognised Agile credentials on European and global CVs, particularly outside pure software environments.
🌍 Brand recognition outside tech. CSM is widely held and immediately recognised by HR teams across sectors — banking, public sector, consulting, retail, healthcare. If your career path is broader than software engineering, the CSM credential travels well.
💻 Flexible online delivery. Sessions are spread across multiple shorter blocks rather than two full consecutive days. Easier to fit around work and family commitments — no travel required, attend from anywhere.
🤝 Active community. Your certification includes a 2-year Scrum Alliance membership giving access to community resources, local user groups, and the Scrum Alliance Global Gathering events.
Choose a Scrum Alliance course if:
- You want a globally recognised Scrum credential with strong recognition outside software environments
- You prefer flexible online delivery with multiple session dates each month
- You value the active Scrum Alliance community and ongoing membership benefits
- You're new to Scrum or transitioning into an Agile role from another discipline
Looking for an in-person classroom experience with a named local trainer? Our Scrum.org Professional Scrum courses are delivered face-to-face in Brussels by Professional Scrum Trainer Steven Deneir (EN/NL) or one of our certified Scrum Trainers (FR) over two full days.
Who teaches the live virtual sessions?
Each session is led by a Scrum Alliance Certified Trainer (CST) from SimpliLearn's global pool. CSTs are the highest trainer accreditation Scrum Alliance awards, with thousands of hours of teaching experience. Because the trainer is assigned from the live-schedule pool, the specific trainer for your session is confirmed at booking rather than pre-named on this page.
What is the difference between CSM and CSPO?
Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) is designed for those who facilitate the Scrum process — coaching the team, removing impediments, and ensuring the framework is applied effectively. CSM is the most popular entry-level Scrum certification worldwide.
Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO) is designed for those who own product direction — managing the backlog, setting product vision, and maximising the value delivered by the team. CSPO is the natural choice for product managers, business analysts and product owners.
How does the live virtual format work?
Sessions are delivered live by a CST via video conference, with full interaction, breakout group exercises, and live Q&A — the same learning experience as a classroom, without the travel. The 16 hours are typically distributed across 4 sessions of 4 hours each, with multiple start-date options each month. You receive 1-year access to course materials and supplementary resources.
Do I get the exam directly?
Yes. After completing the live training, you receive a voucher for the official Scrum Alliance online exam. The CSM exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions with a 74% pass mark. Most participants pass on the first attempt.
Does my Scrum Alliance certification expire?
Scrum Alliance certifications renew every 2 years. To renew, you accumulate Scrum Education Units (SEUs) through ongoing learning activities and pay a renewal fee. Your certification includes a 2-year Scrum Alliance membership at no extra cost, covering your first renewal cycle.
Can my team take a CSM or CSPO course together?
Yes. We can organise dedicated Scrum Alliance sessions for your team in coordination with SimpliLearn, with the standard programme delivered live online. Discover our in-company training or contact us for a quote.
