About this LeanIT Foundation course
“Lean is about making your organization more efficient and to be able to react at the current external demands.”Lean IT is the extension of lean principles, applied in an IT environment. The Lean concept is evolved from the production processes of Toyota (1950). The Lean method will help organizations to reduce waste, produce high quality and increase both efficiency and customer value. The Lean concept has a considerable impact on the culture of an organization, including behavioural aspects such as empowering staff members to engage them in the optimization of processes. The method also brings new concepts such as: Just in Time and Continual improvement.

- The purpose of the Lean IT Foundation certificate is to certify that you have gained knowledge of the Lean IT terminology, structure and basic concepts and has comprehended the core principles of Lean IT practices.
- The Lean IT Foundation Certificate is intended to enable the holders of the certificate to apply the Lean IT practices under guidance of a Lean expert.
- Multiple choice exam, 40 questions per paper, pass mark: 65% (26 out of 40)
