PRINCE2 is a method for managing projects in a structured way and provides an easily tailored and scalable method for the management of all types of projects. It helps project managers to work out who should be involved and what they will be responsible for.
B2B Learning’s 3-day accredited PRINCE2 Practitioner course will give you a deeper insight in the PRINCE2 processes, themes and principles, as well as the relation between them. Based on a scenario and several exercises, this course will be highly practical. You will also prepare for the Practitioner examination which assesses whether you have sufficient understanding of how to apply and tailor the method in a range of different project environments and scenarios. This course conforms to the PRINCE2 2017 syllabus.

How to apply the PRINCE2 method into practice

This is a hands-on training. There will be no presentations to explain the theory and foundation of PRINCE2, as this is supposed to be known. There will be both individual and group exercises to put PRINCE2 into practice, based on a scenario. There will be room for questions & discussion, so to better understand the method. Every day, part of the sample PRINCE2 Practitioner Test Exam will be solved and corrected in group.
During the course, two hours of evening study each night is required.
This 3-day course starts at 09:00 and finishes at ± 17:00.

The PRINCE2 Practitioner exam is planned ± 2 weeks after the training, either paper-based at our offices or online on a proctor-based basis.
Who should attend?
This course is designed for Project Managers and aspiring Project Managers. You will also benefit from this course if you are involved in supporting projects (Project Board Members, Team Managers, …). This course is also suitable for those who want to acquire a thorough knowledge of PRINCE2.
To attend this training and to sit the Practitioner exam, delegates must provide proof of having passed one of the following certifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
IPMA Level A ® (Certified Projects Director)
IPMA Level B ® (Certified Senior Project Manager)
IPMA Level C ® (Certified Project Manager)
IPMA Level D ® (Certified Project Manager Associate)
If you have not attended the PRINCE2 Foundation training or studied this methodology, we strongly advise you to either prepare by reading (eg Pocket Guide or parts of the Manual) or follow our eLearning module.

68 questions per paper
38 marks or more required to pass (out of 68 available) or approximately 55%
Two-and-a-half hours’ (150 minutes) duration, no additional reading time, additional time allowed for non-native English speakers

A binder that includes: Guidance on the Practitioner Exam - The scenario of the case study - Case study exercises - PRINCE2 map/scheme, giving an overview of processes, themes, events or decisions and management products
The manual “Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2 v2017” (if you need pre-reading, we can send the book prior to the course)
During the course, the students will receive possible solutions on the case study exercises. Students will also receive sample Practitioner Exams, including solutions.
