Course & Learning Objectives

Thanks to each module, students will be able to:

  • Present, position and articulate the value of IT in support of the business
  • Understand the Service Lifecycle at the core of ITIL
  • Develop & deliver IT strategy aligned to business requirements
  • Manage and control all processes within the phases of the Service Lifecycle
  • Design, lead, manage and support CSI programs
  • Understand the challenges, critical successfactors and risks involved in implementing & improving Service Management

Prerequisites & Target Audience

Candidates to these courses must hold an ITIL Foundation Certificate V3. A professional experience of 2 to 4 years in IT Service Management is highly recommended. The ITIL Intermediate Lifecycle courses are designed for individuals and/or operational staff who require a deep practical understanding of the ITIL Capability processes and how these may be used to enhance the quality of IT service support within an organization. To take the most chances to succeed, it is strongly recommended that students should complete at least 15 hours of personal study per module.

  • ITIL® Intermediate exam(s) & certificate(s) (on passing the exam(s) successfully)

About the certification exam

  • The exams are closed-book exams with 8 multiple choice, scenario-based, gradient scored questions. Exam duration is 90 minutes. Pass score is 28/40 or 70%.
  • The exams will be scheduled 2 weeks after the training to allow students to get fully acquainted with the syllabus and the associated areas.
  • Upon successful passing of the lifecycle exam(s), students will be recognized with 3 credits per exam in the ITIL Qualification Scheme.
