The ITIL® Awareness Session aims to provide the participants a basic introduction into ITIL, from a management point of view.

Participants will be introduced to the full lifecycle of the ITIL framework so that the participants will become aware of the possibilities ITIL offers to a service provider to deliver and improve high quality IT services in an efficient way.

The full ITIL lifecycle and all of the processes will be presented on a high level, with focus at the potential benefits that can be derived for the service provider and finally the end customer can derive from the various ITIL components.

This will enable participants to identify areas of improvement in their organisation and to understand how ITIL can be used to improve customer and employee satisfaction.

ITIL Awareness Session will be provided as a combination of short presentations and open discussions. At the end of the session, time will be available to discuss issues specific to the participants organisations.

Target audience:

Anybody who needs a basic understanding of the ITIL framework because he is involved in managing or delivering IT services to customers and customers/users that are impacted by IT services.

There are no prerequisites.
